HIV Infection - Are you Young and Vibrant?

I do not find it unfair to correlate with our young and vibrant generation. This is why it is painful to talk about effects of this scourge because it has taken away most of the world’s talented and potential youths.

What is more, this ailment has also left many young orphans who are poor desperate and HIV carriers as well. This makes me wonder who the world will belong to because the old who are healthy, are nearing their graves as well.

A few among the old are dying to become babyish again; they want to practice lustful habits with the young girls and boys because they realize that they could use money as the weapon.

Some of the young people do not want to work hard to live better lives, but they want to give in to the easy money that comes from irresponsible intercourse.

Drugs and HIV infection

The youthful are doing drugs today for many but similar reasons. When they become proper addicts, the HIV virus is waiting on the other end to inherit ‘leftovers’ of drug abuse consequences.

Mostly, young people abuse alcohol and this is because it is sold where they also go partying, in those clubs, there all kinds of bad people and specifically men hawking for beautiful and vigorous girls.

Many of these girls who go to the clubs for the first time via the influence of their friends no not a thing about how they can get drugged and pushed on to sleeping on the wrong beds unconscious.

Too much alcohol consumption is also harmful to their health and if they do not catch HIV virus, chances are that they will not escape a venereal infection.

Those who inject drugs by use of shared needles, still stand high risks of getting infected with this infection at some point in their lives.

HIV infection and early marriages

If a girl never learned how to read and write while she had the short term opportunity to acquire preliminary education, she can not learn any facts about HIV infection.

If her old husband she got married off to dies, it is culturally right for her to be inherited by her husband’s brother even if he has AIDS. This makes her vulnerable as well considering that the same cultures do not recognize protected intercourse. This is in complete reference to developing countries.

These young people also marry to satisfy societal expectations and this is why they never stop falling in love with anyone they lay their eyes on. These dangerous marital and extramarital affairs have increased the rate in HIV infection to the young people just starting families.

HIV and unemployment

Among the many crimes and immoral habits youths engage in due to lack of employment is prostitution not to mention the drug and alcohol abuse. Young men will entice old rich women who are on the look out for spicy sexual relationships. The young women for long have been playing the role of the ‘other woman’ husbands keep secretly for the same reasons in exchange for money.

Now, this is living dangerously because it is not all these men and women will agree to use protection while having affairs with the young people. This increases the vulnerability to catching this HIV infection.

Young and HIV testing

It is ironical that the youths who are always looking for challenges even in dangerous places fail to go for tests. Some of them would rather die secretly than face the test results, because they fear for their reputation among themselves.
